I still felt he should have been given another season but unfortunately, he kind of sealed his own fate with snapping so badly under pressure at the end of the season. Basically, I don't think anyone, not even those of us who really wanted to hold on to him and give him a shot at fixing things...
Agreed but you have to make other ODIs relevant. It would be good to have a set window every year for tests, ODIs and other but no idea how you'd make it work.
Fair enough. Even with merit, it seems cricket is actually going in the other direction with The Hundred, basically you get a hundred balls or 16.4 overs. Then there is also the experimental T10 league. As frustrating as it is for purists, cricket is going shorter and shorter.

I still love Kevvie. Still loves the club, the hurt will subside and he’ll still cheer us on. Interesting comments about Bennett though also loving the Broncs still. At least that’s how I interpreted it.
What is the point of this trial? There is almost no one out there that will be in either team come round 1 outside Hess or maybe 3 or 4 at most who are outside chances.
