Definitely think this is a good tactic. Would love to see them playing the edge a bit and let the middles get some of the initial sting out of the game. Keeping Walsh as fresh as possible as the big boys start to tire is key.
Petero was still kicking ass though. Oatsey is way too slow for the wing these days - especially on an edge that'll have Walsh wrapping around with Cobbo/Mariner.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him hang around the club for life, but I can't see him being a regular starter on the wing...
As much as I love Oatsey, I can't see a place for him barring injuries. He's a great first drop replacement, but is he willing to potentially sit in Q Cup for large parts of the season?
As much as it pains me to say it, I hope he gets a good money offer and plays regular first grade somewhere...
I was hopeful for Billy from the start of his stint here. I'm pretty sure in the other thread I marked him as starting 6 for my preference for where he should play, but he's found his place at 9 now.
I think that he could be an injury to Grant/Hunt away from an Origin jumper. He's definitely...
Broncos:
1. 5 out of 7 - I would have thought Oates and Capewell would have played.
2. Happy to be wrong here!
3. WOO!
4. Not sure how many games he missed, but we did win without him.
5. If only he slowed his brain.
NRL:
1. Well dang
2. Even bigger dang, but happy to see them pumelled out of...
