Definitely think this is a good tactic. Would love to see them playing the edge a bit and let the middles get some of the initial sting out of the game. Keeping Walsh as fresh as possible as the big boys start to tire is key.

As much as I love Oatsey, I can't see a place for him barring injuries. He's a great first drop replacement, but is he willing to potentially sit in Q Cup for large parts of the season? As much as it pains me to say it, I hope he gets a good money offer and plays regular first grade somewhere...
