latest news are the roosters are still desperate to off load jayden but there has been bugger all interest from any clubs, however we are now considering taking him back for some unknown reason.
hodges is a miserable human being, hence why we no longer have his services. bennett didnt require him after his 20's deal finished.
if the titans go with hodges (very unlikely) the joint will implode even further.
if he stays at red hill he potentially faces 3 players in front of him for a position in the team. if he moves elsewhere he may only have 1 direct obstacle in front of him. i would rather sit behind 1 than potentially 3.
so if we develop players and then buy others in cause they are better then...
he could move to a lesser club and play grade and get game time. look at those kids coming through at the knights, safiti brothers, fitzgibbon etc. they prob dont get a game anywhere else but now they are pretty well established first graders who are going great.
it doesnt mean carrigan is...
why would it be a poor career move?
tpj was signed on big bucks for an untried nrl prospect. hass is the same.
if arrow had left red hill earlier he most likely would have played more nrl and earnt more bucks.
if bird is annointed the heir to the 13 jersey then why would carrigan sit around...
i have never been a huge arrow fan (skill wise), but one thing is for certain. the bloke's attitude towards training, preparation and game day is second to none. what he lacks in skill he makes up for in heart and commitment.
watene was extremely unlucky, was supposed to play nrl one week but got injured. he never recovered after that and then disappeared.
he was dam good and should have played a lot of nrl
for me the glaring issue relates to the front row, we are soft around the middle.
moose did have a quieter game last night, but he cant be expected to carry sims and blair every week and he isnt the biggest bloke around either.
as an opposition, you would look at our front row and wouldnt be to...
i agree, i know they have plenty more loot to spend and they are keen on picking up an experienced front rower still. lets remember, this is the nrl, the merry go round of player transfer happens all the time these days so i wouldnt be surprised if they did pick someone decent up over the off...
im pretty certain he was a toowoomba boy and broncos had a shirt on his back at a very young age. he may have gone to the gc for a stint but i distinctly remember him running around for dd quite a bit
who would know, but i seen him up close saturday. his frame is dam impressive. you give him a year or 2 fulltime and it will be a good result. in saying that he has a footy brain so not just a crash and bash dopey front rower. there is a lot about carrigan to like.
also, he is a clean skin. no...
i am shocked to see kodi at fullback. wayne obviously has a short memory about kodis last game when he covered the wing. he got destroyed by the storm.
i would anticipate the dogs will bomb the hell out of him tomorrow night.
