nope he just fell over, and if you look clearly i reckon matulino had just got back the 10 metres from where smith tapped the ball to where he just fell over.
just another case of reputation ruling the decision
the tactics adopted by the tigers were melbourne storm tactics - only difference is when smith and the storm lay around the ruck and slow the play the ball down they somehow get away with it.
bunn is the best around, closely followed by zammit i reckon.
brandon smith was one that i definitely had my doubts on, but bunn seen something. i guess that why he is in his job and me in mine.
i think the overall storm package as far as finding value for $ is why they are the pinnacle now.
i think it has more to do with the scouts we have not identifying and developing correctly. we sign a hell of a lot of kids and as noted before the cronies at the moment use the funnel approach. fill the top up and see what falls through at the bottom.
the canberra bloke is an old man these days...
they are monkeys with machine guns. just aim for the trees and hope something hits and sticks.
bunn was the last good one but he is now killing it in melbourne
nofoaluma is a good ball carry but if you watch him defebsively he gets caught a lot in no mans land and his side of the field has been the weakest for the tigers the past few years.
if he could get that sorted he would be a top class winger.
george was ok, i actually think he looked a bit heavy.
lavea for me was a surprise today, i was never a huge fan but he looks to have come on and looked good
i didnt say it was bad, to break it down he just needs miles in the legs and game time - and i wasnt expecting him to play 80 minutes especially since it was his first real hit out against the big boys.
there is a few on show - scarlett has impressed today with his kicking and also general play.
bennett, nolan and richards all here watching.
opacic has been ok also
