This seems pretty standard. Every team needs their halfback and 5/8, forwards and 9 to fire up.
I suppose he's saying he doesn't think it's going to happen, but then again, I've read a lot of posts on here with that exact same opinion.
You wouldn't think that'd be the case.
Any head coach NRL gig is essentially the end goal for a coach, and Brisbane would have to be up there in terms of desirability.
Lockyer would totally say that. He's just that kind of guy, I don't think I've ever seen him big note himself.
I think he'd be wrong though, Lockyer is absolutely the better captain.
