I was worried we'd miss Oates kick returns because I expected to see the Broncos working the ball out from deep a lot, but I doubt Oates could have played this well so far.
I came back from overseas last week through Sydney, and for some reason my phone kept Sydney as my timezone tonight. I work 7 to 3 today and my phone woke me up and hr early, and I was half way to the hospital before I found out the time was wrong.
So **** NSW and **** NSW sides.
This a great point, maybe them losing isn't such a bad thing haha.
On the other hand if the Broncos lose, friggin Victorians will start making fun of us again.
Watched it with a die hard Lions fan. Was funny seeing how nervous he was, that'll be me tomorrow. As someone who doesn't reallt follow the game, I felt like Brisbane were just holding on and Collingwood could have put it away a lot earlier with more luck.
I disagree its all for nothing if the Broncos lose.
They lost 2015 but I still have fond memories of matches up until the grand final, especially with complete rubbish seasons that followed it.
The best thing would be just not to say anything, however with the media responsibilities its probably not possible. The media is the real villain, just like they usually are. They fish for the quotes that suits their article, and Haas probably handled it much better than it could have been.
The 3-2-1 system is always going to be flawed. I feel like awarding each player an individual score is better, though this probably has flaws too.
Still, Ponga was one of the top 5 players this year IMO, and arguably the main reason for the Knights huge turnaround.
