I think experience and 4 years of almost perfect dominance rightly puts Penrith as favourites. Broncos really have to be pretty much perfect. If they throw the ball around like last night it really needs to stick every single time.
Whatever happens, making it this far is a huge success and even...
It's a bit frustrating how good Panthers are to be honest. Even though it could make for a more rewarding victory if the Broncos win the next 2 games, I'd prefer not stressing is much in the lead up and during the game lol.
Current part time Toowoomba resident here, yes it is and still kind of iconic. However I think Toowoomba is the king of kebabs now, hopefully Fusion Kebabs will be the next icon lol.
Glad the Panthers won so don't have to play them in week 3.
Glad the Roosters won because I feel like them and the Storm are the next 2 biggest threats and have the best chance to knock Panthers out.
I'm overseas and haven't been able to watch the last 2 games. Will be back just in time for the prelims.
Hopefully it's against the Warriors or the Knights or something.
Broncos will absolutely miss both. In terms of raw talent, Broncos will miss Flegler more. Of course long term its all about keeping a balanced squad and I don't think the Broncos could keep him, Carrigan and Haas all on big money and not suffer somewhere else.
Palasia would have been good to...
Yeah, Broncos were definitely forward heavy before. With Haas and Carrigan in the middle you can easily get away with other cheaper middle forwards as back up, they just need to be good enough to contribute, not necessarily be rep level players. Having Lodge and TPJ on top of that was overkill...
