I think I mentioned in another thread that in my opinion our defence up the middle could be suspect with McGuire at lock. I haven't changed my mind yet.

While I agree with your comments on Offa the U20s argument is not valid as all NRL players came through junior football and most had deficiencies. At some stage they were given a go. Talent scouts also look past their deficiencies to their strengths.

I am a big fan of Arrow's but he is not a ball player. He does however have a good offload and defence. So I have to agree with 1910 here.

Another important facet to gauge is offloads and Arrow will kill McGuire in this department once he is confident in playing NRL

I don't McGuire as a big body and personally he may be the player I would let go at the end of his contract. Tough choice

While I am a big fan of Sua I can't see him making the round 1 team unless he gets the centre spot. I think he may figure later i the year.
