This is a great point, I think you will find he didn't have the cattle. Somewhat like us when the rules changed. Some squads just didn't have the fitness or the mentality to adapt to those changes which were huge.
The tigers had a lot of guys that were totally unwilling to get the job done...
Exactly it allows honest opinions without fear of retaliation. Dobbo knows this as you point out it is the norm for reviews. At the end of the day the decision is done and old news. What matters now is what happens next.
After yesterday queue the stories of us priming too early. I bet the journos have about 10 stories prewritten about Madge going too hard to early and us burning out. Especially if we have success early in the season expect a story every win haha.
I wonder what happened last preseason because he didn't look fit at all. Not sure if he came late or what., but he looked a completely different player yesterday. Could be a real surprise for us this year post a quality preseason.
Early last year he had a couple of good games. One where he did show that creativity from dummy half. The game where he made a break and dummied a kick to set up a try or score himself. But like you point out Walters sr seemed desperate to keep him out there. Even to the point of playing him...
I must say I haven't seen a preseason trial ever from memory where we have shown up this cohesive and ready to go. What really struck me was there was not just one bloke shining out there. Most of our younger guys looked good, in fact everyone looked pretty good. Usually these things have a...
I feel for Jordan, a lot of what you point out is something that shows up in young men that were raised in broken homes. A Father can make or break a young mans confidence. I don't know the ins and outs of his life but from my understanding he didn't know his father well before his untimely...
I am not an insider of any kind but I know there is always political nonsense in clubs, local districts etc. Sometimes awards and rep honors come down to other things then on field performance. Family names, Business owners, family friends, coaches son.. the usual shit humans do.
NRL player...
This is the best thing they could do for him. Learn what it is like to have a real job. Getting up early, slogging it all day in the heat and coming home through shit traffic.
Unfortunately he doesn't have kids at home expecting him to be available when he arrives. That is a whole other level...
Not really mate, these things happen. It may just be what the kid needed to pull himself together. If he is out for a year he will have two quality halves providing him with a lot of knowledge. We should remember he came in young and has been on the go ever since. This may slow everything down...
No, I think Ezra will be paying his do's in 25, may even spend a lot of the year in grade or on the bench. Using Hunt in the middle will only happen when impact on him will be at it's lowest. 26 will likely be Hunt Ezra combination.
This is the best thing to happen since Adam coming. It provides cover if Reynolds goes down while also giving us the most experienced halves pairing in the league when they are both on the field. This gives Mam times to pay his do's and come back to earth a bit.
Also will gives us another year...
Mam will be really lucky to play footy anytime soon. After hearing the toddler has a broken hip, he has caused serious injury here. As I said earlier I believe in second chances and obviously I am back tracking a bit with this info.. But as a Father I would want him sacked and never to be seen...
I have always assumed that any evidence must meet a standard, a chain of custody etc, to prove it didn't get tampered with. It's actually good to hear that this is not an issue in these cases. Sounds like the procedure is a lot less fiddly also.
