I have no issues with Shib and Gos starting if our major issue is sorted, and that is defence. Piakura is almost certainly on the bench. Arthurs is still my pick for the wing, but maybe Mariner is an option for wing as well - if combinations work with these guys starting they Mariner needs to...
Of the props noted that can play 2nd row, i think Willison has the fastest feet and lateral movement - he would be my pick for 10-20 minutes playing a bit wider
also, if they do not perform, then someone else will be given a chance - Jet, Hunt are 2 others available plus other T&T (I know they have to wait till later in the season - but clearing out the dross will be in full string by then)
you missed WIllison in that forward rotation - interesting to see if Jensen or BTK gets the other spot - experience off the bench compared to size and beast mode
I think most of what we have seen so far can be replicated throughout the squad - so even though we will have some hard patches, I do not think we will have extended poor periods - Madge will be good for us
Click bait - watch it come out even more as we start strong- hating on the Broncos brings a wide readership so why reinvent the wheel
Unfortunately this has been the same for years - but with success brings loyalty currency so just win and damn the small minded media nufties
If Kobe is lock the real options for front row are
Haas
Cariggan
Willison
Btk
Jensen
And big Marty
Add some impressive T&T over the last 2 weeks and we have experience, youth and energy
The only thing we may be lacking is the scare factor but Willison may bring this
Kobe was very good yesterday - like he able to play with more freedom, knowing he had others to help with the bash and barge - playing him to his strengths will help, as long as the others fulfil their roles
the "team" worked together well yesterday - there was very rarely one on one misses, as there was very rarely only one in the tackle. This is the mentality with QLD so I do not think Hunt will be a liability in defence any more than any other smallish player - he definitely plays above his...
