Rabbits playing like the 2015 Broncos in the Heritage jersey. This game reminds me a lot of the Broncos vs Rabbits game round 25 2015, where every offload was finding another player and every set looked like they could score.
Personally I feel we will slip into 7th, with the 8th spot coming down to the last game of the year with the Panthers vs Knights game, winner moving on.
A big key to winning this game will be our start. Our best bet is to work off second-phase footy, which will take a huge blow with TPJ out. Hopefully Lodge, Fifita and Haas can find more opportunities to offload.
Another key thing will be for Macca to continue this kick pressure. Players like...
This Dragons team is reminding me bit of late 2015 Broncos, just with a better forward pack but worse backs. The two running halves on both sides of the field is always good to watch
Bird (needs to be more involved, looks good whenever he has it)
Oates
Roberts (hopefully fit)
Staggs (needs to be in the team, goalkicker)
Boyd (experience/lack of depth only thing saving him)
Milford
SOS (his initials describes the situation)
Lodge
Turpin (if available, don't no if he is in the...
Siebold needs to drop some players and give the team a wake-up call. Start will Mccullough and Isaako. Turpin in, Boyd to wing, Bird to fullback. If the same lack of effort continues from Boyd and Nikorima then replace with more determined youngsters.
8. Lodge
9. McCullough
10. Ofahengaue
11. Su'a
12. Gillett
13. Pangai Junior

14. Staggs
15. Glenn
16. Haas
17. Tagataese/Fensom/Mago
This is the forward pack I would be rolling out for the first few games against the Storm, Dragons, Cowboys and Roosters. Glenn would return to...
Is there any chance we see Seibs rotate the starting lock and bench depending on the opposition? For example say against the storm we want a conservative approach, so we would then see Offa start at lock and possibly Taga on the bench. But when we verse say poor defensive teams we see TPJ start...
Absolutely agree, but the problem I am worried about is the wing. As others mentioned one of my examples Purcell currently isn't even signed to us, meaning an injury to a winger would result in us having to reshuffle the backline or put someone in an unfamiliar position. I don't see much harm is...
I don't know why everyone is happy to let Kahu go. If either Oates or Isaako or both go down we are a bit light. We would have to rely on Staggs (center), Shibasaki(center?) or Purcell(fullback/winger) to fill the gap unless we make positional changes and move Roberts or Boyd to the wing. Kahu...
Bit late on this post but grew up playing against him in the younger grades. If you were looking for a similar player to compare him to it would be Ben Barba, used to be able to score from anywhere. Haven't seen him play in years but good to see he is going well. The only problems he ever had...
The season definitely wasn't helped by $2 million that sat on the sideline in Gillett, Bird, Su'a, and Haas. Though with those injuries we got a sneak peek at our future in TPJ, Offa, Lodge, Fifita, Turpin, Mago and Staggs. The last three games of the season didn't really help us out as the...
