Tom Brady gets injured and is gone for the season, and this young guy comes in making his first start since high school and is supposed to fill his shoes. Everyone was on his case because he was 'no Tom Brady', but it turned out that his first season as a starter would end up better than Brady's. Sure, Cassel started out poorly, but he needed to find his feet. In your case, you have a QB who is expected to perform well, but isn't, so you turned to a well traveled QB who hasn't really been given the chance to show what he can do either. At this stage there is nothing to say that Gradkowski will, or will not do well. As I said previously, I hope he does prove to be the QB that you so desperately need - but it's far too early to tell. FTR - I don't give a shit whether Oakland is a losing team. It's their own fault for making stupid choices in the draft. If Gradkowski played for the Colts I would be saying exactly the same thing. Is a 'bandwagon supporter' the term you use for those who support a team that is better than yours? If not, then I have NFI what you are talking about. A bandwagon supporter implies that I have changed the team I support at some stage. I have supported the Patriots for as long as I have been following American Football (which is before they started winning Super Bowls BTW), and I will never stop supporting them. For you to suggest I am anything but a true fan just proves how clueless you really are.
