Tautau Moga can be a really great pick up, and he can surprise quite a few people. Out of our whole squad, he'll probably have the most untapped potential. Injuries early on in his career has stunted his development, but the great thing is he is still so young. At 22, he has his best football still in front of him and as his body matures, he'll overcome those injuries and get stronger. The thing with Moga is getting his confidence back, not only in his body, but in his ability. There's no better coach than Bennett at helping a young bloke regain their confidence and establish greater trust in their own ability. If Moga gains some confidence, it will no doubt be transferred on the field. For those who don't know a lot about Moga, he is a supremely talented footballer, who just when he looked like coming into his own as a first grader, got struck with a few major injuries. Being so young when he suffered those repeat injuries, I'm not sure he ever really overcame them mentally. You don't lose talent, and if he can string together a few games, he's best football will follow. Just some background on Moga, but he and Milford went to the same highschool, and as freakish as Milford has always been, Moga was by far the better player. Moga does remind me a lot of Kahu, who was head and shoulders above the rest and far too talented for those around them, but major injuries have hampered them from truly realising their potential. Kahu is a perfect example for Moga, who too can become a great footballer, similar to the way Kahu has after overcoming his early setbacks.
