The 22-year-old has been in the Broncos' system for two years now, and last year edged closer to a debut as he was named in extended squads of 21 for matches. But after working hard through the pre-season, he is keen to be knocking on the door of an NRL call up. The trial season, which starts with a Feb 10 match in the Central Queensland town of Theodore, will be central to that goal. "It is exciting and it is kind of scary as well," he said. "It's been a long time off the field so I am keen but anxious as well. "Obviously I'd like to try and have at least a couple of games and make my debut this year."
