Ofahengaue hurt his knee early last year but managed to get through the NRL season and finals and then go to the World Cup with Tonga. He returned to running with the team this week while the Broncos were on camp on the Sunshine Coast. "I came up with a little injury early in the season and I had to play through it," he said. "So I just had to have a little clean out of my knee. "Everything is good now, I just had my first skills session back with the boys, so I am feeling good." It has let Ofahengaue re-acquaint himself with new Broncos' prop Matt Lodge. The pair clashed playing against each other in the under-20s when Lodge was at the Tigers, but then formed up when they were both picked for the Junior Kangaroos side in 2014. Ofahengaue said Lodge would bring his competitive nature to the Broncos. "We didn't really get along too well in the 20s," he said. "When I met him in the Kangaroos camp he wasn't a bad bloke and we have kind of bonded since then. "He's just a competitor and that's what I like about him and what I hope he brings to the club."
