Welp, looks like we're running with what we have. 1. Kahu/Isaako 2. Oates 3. Staggs 4. Bird 5. Isaako/Kahu 6. Milford 7. Dearden 8. Lodge 9. Turpin 10. Haas 11. Fifita 12. Glenn (c) 13. TPJ 14. Paix 15. Flegler 16. Joe O 17. Carrigan The only reason I have Carrigan benched is because I just know Seibold is gonna embrace his belief that the Lock Forward is extinct and play Pangai as a third Prop. I'm not against that approach by default, because personally I'm on the fence as to whether he is right to believe there is no need for a pure Lock in the modern game, but he had better damn hope that Turpin performs admirably in the middle, because that's the only way we're creating anything in the way of opportunities. The whole Kahu saga might have just been a genuine **** up, OR they did in fact just loan a player to a rival club for reasons that will never be known to us (maybe he had some sort of attachment disorder with McGuire that he needed to shake off, I dunno), but I'm thoroughly convinced he was brought back intentionally and for a reason, because clearly he was our player anyway (somehow). Seibold has brought him back to play fullback for a year because he doesn't trust Isaako with the job enough, or at the very least as an insurance policy should Isaako fail. I'm a believer in the former, I doubt Isaako will don the number 1 beyond the trial matches. He just is nowhere near consistent enough of a player to be in a spine position. I mean when you can't even catch a bomb consistently as a winger, you expect to be a good fullback? Give me a spell. The only real advantage playing him there provides is getting his turnstile ass out of the defensive line. As for the ahem lepers, by all rights they shouldn't even be 2nd choice as injury coverage after the sewer grime they delivered last year, but you just feel it in your gut don't you? Seibold won't have the spine to give them the hardass treatment in the face of a looming injury crisis, and both Boyd and McC will be back in the side at some point before the end of next season. Whereupon this forum and what feels like the entire Broncos fanbase will completely implode in on itself as support for Seibold enters a deathspiral, White strolls out in September without even sacking him and the blame game begins as another season is rather forgotten than remembered.
