- 30 man squads to remain
- senior players only required to play one pre-season trial
- origin payments (at least for 2020) likely to be reduced as 30k per match is not feasibile
NRL retains top-30 roster system as salary cap cut by 10 per cent
The top-30 squads will remain next year, but there will be some hip-pocket pain for players as the salary cap comes down by about 10 per cent.
