Yep, and that's why most Qld fans have been snickering under our breath about the selection. Moses is definitely a lot better than he was 5 years ago, I used to hang a lot of shit on him, but he has improved in a lot of areas. But he is still a flat-track bully that needs a fiercely dominant pack to give him space, otherwise (as we have seen plenty of times this year when they struggled) he either disappears or he reverts to the low-percentage hero-plays of no-look passes over the sideline, or balls to no-one in particular. He can on occasion wrestle back momentum with his kicking game, which is one of his most improved areas, but to think Qld are going to give him the time and space to do that is very questionable. He's the epitome of a great club half, which is exactly what NSW goes for an exactly why they keep shitting the bed. I can't even really advocate for Hynes over him as I see him as more of a #6 (which is why he has great attacking stats and dominates when playing lower teams, but the Sharks don't have the control to take it to the top teams). The glaringly obvious choice, the player who is all about game plan, control, composure, etc was Reynolds. It was hilarious that Reynolds was the one who pulled the strings to expose Hynes deficiencies, yet was overlooked. For a showpony that cemented his place in the NSW team by having an effortless highlight-reel game against the 16th place team.
