AFL is to play their 1st overseas match next seaon in October. A good move considering their wish to develop the game overseas as well.

They have, it's just that this is the 1st normal season overseas match.

Its huge for any Aussie sport to do any event overseas so thou im not an AFL fan this is awesome news. I just hope the NRL can follow in their foot steps at some point and do some Asia matches cause it seems to me they love their sport.
