Just want to give a special shout out to Alex Glenn.

I know there's a few people on here who question what he brings to the team, but I think he's been absolutely immense so far this year and seems to be improving as the season goes on.

IMO, it's no coincidence that he is now a starter and our defence has improved. His running game is beginning to look a lot more dangerous as well - he put on some lovely steps last night which resulted in a few half-breaks.

Getting a spot in New Zealand's test side would be a great reward for the bloke. Hope they name him.

I agree, he's playing really well within the framework Hook has implemented.

Great footwork at the line and excellent defence make him a very valuable asset to us icon_thumbs_u

Glenn is proof that if you give talent a chance, you end up with class, and Glenn is all class. And getting better with each match. His stepping of late is a good example.

Agreed. He's been one of our best this year. His kick-chase is immense and he consistently makes double and triple efforts in defence. He's a player.

Yep, always was. Was a shame Henjak had him pigeon-holed to fill a gap in the centres.
