Lockyer should be for sure.

The others (Langer and company) were incredible players but you could compare them to other incredible players too, I have Langer being compared to Ricky Stuart and the like.. you could openly debate it and have good arguments for a few players of that era. Lockyer though, there is no debate.

Lockyer, you can't compare him to anyone, he revolutionised the fullback position and turned it into what it is today with fullbacks needing to provide a bit of ballplaying rather than just being a strong and athletic carrier of the ball. Then he stepped into 5/8 and he did a lot of things but for me he was the one who got the wheels in motion regarding the great QLD side that went on to dominate post his retirement. He was also one of the most clutch players we will probably ever see.
