I think a lot has been lost in the media beat up over the Broncos poor form. They went in hard as they could. Absolutely hammering us and very hard on Seibs since we lost our first game post covid. Other teams just get a free ride, they don't even acknowledge our injuries to key players. The penalties and rub of the green has not gone our way and I think it is all just pilling up at red hill. The boys and Seibs have to look themselves in the mirror and accept it has been not good enough on their end. They have to go the extra % to overcome the refs and the media beat ups, they need to become a clinical hard edged team. Here we are dredging up the old WB vs Seibs arguments on the forum. Well just have a look at at Souths. As of today they have won exactly one more game then us this year. They are not performing up to standard at all. The talent of that team as it is. You could actually say since WB has taken over they have gone backwards. But the media are not all over them are they. WB is now not so bashed in the media as he was as Broncos head coach, he has gone from a liar and manipulator to the master tactician, a wizard of head games. Maybe Siebs does need some more time to further cut out the tumors of Boyd and few other hard to excise metastasis. I just don't see how ditching Seibs is going to help at this stage. I am not happy with his current form either. He needs to nut up and start becoming more animated, more emotional and less controlled . He seems to be holding himself back, he just wants to be clinical and respectful. The media is not with him so he should not be with them. Would love to see him come down from the Box this weekend, like Ricky and just be part of the contest, feel the win or loss down there with the team. How good would it be to break a losing streak and your down there to take part in the joy. Thats what I would do, get my self out of my own comfort zone and get out their and live. If anyone has line to the club and agrees send a message to get that man out of the box.
