That decision ought to be based on what are for me, 2 major issues : 1) Can he get the team to lift, can he get the best out of his players, and 2) how quickly he acts, from now on, to drop players who aren't performing, depending on who is available, which is one of our major problems this year with injuries, and of course, our less than stellar recruitment policies. The other thing here is that Seibold, again imo, most likely can't do this on his own. If you look at the Rorters, they have a clinical psych on hand to deal with players' mental health and other psychological issues that might impact their performances. We don't. They have, as I understand it, at least 2 specialist defence coaches. We have a 2-day a week part timer. This is, as has been flagged in these threads, a much broader coaching problem than just Seibold, and nothing will change for mine until it is addressed. If Seibold has an ego which stands in the way of this, then he is a fool and definitely needs to go - at the end of this season, along with club management for failing the team to have on board the proper resources required for effective coaching.
