Alledged sexual assault Not really. The club should have been on the front foot from day 1 condemning the players for being out on a bender and standing them down immediately. They may not be guilty of sexual assault but they are guilty of being dicks and trashing the club's brand in partaking in a public gang bang. With the investigation still going standing those players down for this week minimum would have taken a lot of heat off the club. The club went to ground pretty much from the get go issuing only printed statements one per day. At least give the media something Bruno. One pagers simply won't cut it. Cullen has had a shocking week IMO. Dragging the netballer done for DUI into the fray was a stunt and it smacked of desperation. Many fans were appalled at some of the player behaviour and for Bruno to simply saying there will be a post-season review doesn't cut it. The club needed to be decisive and they weren't. Casablanca Mostly yes. The most important thing about this incident was Lockyer's immediate denial. That was good enough for me. I'm grateful Cullen and Bennett have backed him too. I think the public are a skeptical of the allegation judging by the Brisbane Times article (http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/news/sp ... 24761.html) News Ltd have tried to beef it up but the bottom line is there is no conclusive evidence it was the skipper who supposedly "tackled" the publican. Now part of me wishes the tackler had cut him in half. Cullen was a smartarse in yesterday's press conference though. To say he recognised the Broncos in the footage and then refuse to name them wasn't cool. His tone was arrogant. Even if the media are being dicks he didn't have to be so blunt. Why not just say the footage was inconclusive and leave it at that? I'm interested to know what other fans think of the club's performance this week? Have they handled themselves well or has it been a balls up? Do tell...
