I think he bats 4-5 in shield ([USER=8423]@Sproj[/USER] ??) and probably would be better for him, but his form has been far too poor to make that move in the near future... and Head would actually suit 6 better I think, because his lapses in concentration seemingly aren't allowing long long innings at 5, even his 150 mostly happened in a session. I think batting at 7 could help him by lowering the pressure and expectations required, but is Carey reliable enough to bat in the top 6... probably not. I'm not really sure what the answer is really, but I think it's better if he's in and around the test team and getting ongoing coaching. [/QUOTE]
