Not everyone is Karmichael Hunt who can be thrown into first grade at a young age and immediately take on the role like a seasoned first grader. Taylor by all reports is a special player, but he's signed till next year and he'll get his chance when it comes, I don't think there's sense in throwing Milford to fullback to make way for Taylor when there's no rush.
