Aussie middle-order got rolled after a solid start at Lords.

Mr. North continues to put his hand up.

9/229 @ stumps.

Pitch looks perfect for Hilfy to rip in, hopefully the clouds stick around.

Hilfy and Mitch will tear through em after Hussey makes another fighting 100. Didnt North struggle in the domestic scene as well? No doubt they will pick him for the ASHES anyway.

Personally I'd drop him but not sure for who. Maybe Phil Hughes

Pretty sure Khawaja is in the squad over there - not that I necessarily believe he should come in for North at this stage. But you're right, if they won't drop North after last summer, then it's highly unlikely they'll drop him anytime in the foreseeable future. A couple of good innings in NZ means we're stuck with him.

I'd be dropping North and batting Steve Smith at 6. A gun bat who bowls decent leg spin. North is rubbish his defence is too lose. I agree though Hilfy and Johnno will destroy the taliban

How ironic. He nearly took more wickets than he scored runs...pity he's meant to be a batsman.

Sack the useless ****.

Now North will be picked as a bowler..... The Ashes won't be fun if North is in the team.

WTF Ponting! He gives North a bowl over a specialist bowler! Albeit it worked because it was Pakistan who waited til the odds were better.

The question is do we keep North and if not who replaces him? Does Watson go to 6 and bring in Hughes to open?

Credit to Tim Paine for a good game with the gloves

You got that right Shahid.

Also, thank goodness for Simon Katich. He's the only batsman in the side that shows some application on a consistent basis.

Marcus North top scores so far this innings.................................
With 16.

6/73 shit

My god... here's hoping hillfy's shoulder holds up!

That middle order really needs a shake up but, bowler friendly conditions or not.
