Tell me, Why is "reverse swing" so dangerouse? I understand what it is and how it works but why is ti more dangerouse than conventional swing? It's not like the batsman can see the shiny and rough side of the ball as it swings through the air or even out of the bowlers hand. In any case if you realise the ball is reverse swinging (as the Indian's and Pom's seem to have become good at) then you just adjust your shots according to the reverse swing and not the conventional swing. I don't see why everyone is making such a big deal out of it just becuase the Indian's are getting reverse swing in the early overs. The only thing I can think of is that reverse swing swings differently somehow. Later/more/less? The other thing is people must remember we have just lost arguable two of the best bowlers the world have ever seen (one in each the spinner's and quick catergories), a world class batsman and keeper and a world class opener. Along with that our opener is coming off a 6 months injury. We lost one game.....the world is not over for us just yet.
