Their tackles are also a lot more high impact than Staggy's. And an average of 30 tackles a game seems pretty ordinary to me for a defensive workhorse. You also have to consider that he has played an additional game compared to Thiaday and Hannant. Don't get me wrong, I like Stagg. He obviously puts 100% in every time he runs out for us. In the modern game, all the forwards are getting fitter and fitter and I don't think the game needs defensive workhorses like Stagg and Hindmarsh.
