Best Player - Ben Hunt - Without him this year, we finish in the bottom 4 to say the least. Best Forward - Corey Parker - Just gets better with age. Needs to improve goal kicking at crucial times though. Best Back - Dale Copley (Hunt was player of the year) - Really announced himself this year which was fantastic to see. He keeps on getting better and better and I'm very interested to see what Bennett will do with him next year. Most Consistent Josh McGuire - Was a regular contributor. Only problem I have with him is that is he capable of stepping up to the upper echelon of props like Scott, Bromwich, Graham etc Rookie of the Year - Granville? We only blooded him and Molo this year Defensive Play of the Year - Hoffmans one on one tackles Most Improved - Ben Hunt enough said Biggest Disappointment - Barba - I know Kennedy was a huge let down but I had extremely high hopes for Barba. He is the type of player you could build your teams structure around but it just didn't happen this year. Hopefully Wayne unlocks him next year. He looked promising on his first touch v Bulldogs in rnd 1 when he set the try up for Copley but it just fell away from there Try of the Year - Hodges magic thru his legs. Just keeps coming up with that stuff. Best Game - Warriors at Suncorp. We had to come back from a decent margin and finally nailed a close game. Worst Game - Sharks game. In fact there we a couple where we should have won. The Melbourne game at Suncorp was pretty disappointing aswell.
