Best Player - Ben Hunt, finally lived up to the expectations laid on him as a rookie and delivered with a superb first season as the fulltime halfback. Was close to making his Origin debut and it wouldn't surprise me if we got the halfback of the year award. Best Forward - Corey Parker enough said. One of the best forwards in the game and the best lock all season. Best Back - Justin Hodges. Despite missing some games he is still our most dangerous back and carried our backline at times throughout the year superbly. 2nd half performance on Saturday is testament to that. Most consistent - Josh McGuire. Always put in 100% and did his job in each game Rookie of the year - Jake Granville. Didn't blood anyone really but I would've kept this bloke. Most Improved - Dale Copley. Went from someone who I didn't think much of to someone I rate but still has some work to do on his game but overall a terrific year and can kick on from it. Biggest Disappointment - Ben Barba. Some may say Kennedy but I never really rated him and wasn't expecting much from him while on the other hand I thought Barba would bring some attacking skills and spark our backline but he had an average season. Has showed promise since his move to the halves but he still gets this spot. Try of the year - The Hodges through the legs ball against the Titans at Suncorp was my favourite with the Barba one against Canterbury the next best. Best game - Beating the Bulldogs 41-10. Putting on attacking football like that showed what our backline is capable off and to see it after some below par stuff in attack over the last year and a bit was encouraging. Worst game - The Sharks game Buy of the year - Vidot, can't believe I doubted this guy before the season but he proved me wrong.
