Griffin couldn't do that. . Too afraid of releasing Hoffman and by right he should of been, because he doesn't have the pull that Bennett has to replace him. And sure, maybe you are all upset with "who" Bennett signed, but the fact is he had the power to do it! But what it all comes down to, is Bennett, through his experience, understands you can trust exactly that, experience. Boyd, Blair. . They're all experienced players: Ability comes from skill, attitude and the knowledge and or experience in those big moments to actually display it. Bennett is bringing in change that dissipates all the previous dissdisillusionment that clouded players under Griffin. Through this, attitude will change. Players will come together because there's trust. Trust in each other, trust in their coach and then we'll see them find trust in themselves. So players like boyd, blair, gavet, thaiday, reed, glenn, gillett, macca who mostly get attacked on this forum, will start to consistently produce. You can't get rookies firing without the leaders leading the way. Griffin couldn't unite and lead... But with experience, some day he will. This is the key here. . Experience. Experience is trustworthy and invaluable. So let's all get off the balls of our players. . It's up to them now to prove themselves to their coach. If they can't, their coach will do what is necessary. You might say, well he doesn't with boyd.... But who could blame boyd for the collapse that was the tinkler situation at the Knights.. How could you blame Wayne for jumping ship... If you found out you weren't getting paid I'm sure your ethic would drop too. Plus, it's clear Benett loves this club. . It's his baby. He's back to protect it and nurture it back to health. I'm all for every one of these signings. They didn't break the bank, and they carry not asof a risk because they're not all inexperinexperienced players with only "potential". [/QUOTE]
