I've always believed that a try saved is as good as a try scored so maybe he gets a spot based on that as opposed to other more talented but inconsistent players. Copley has had opportunities though. Fans can whine all they want about how he's best at left centre or right centre or wherever but if you're only good in one position you better be damned good at it. Maranta, Kahu and even Reed have proven they're adept at covering multiple positions adequately.
