The real and unpalatable truth for you is that we men like the idea that these sportsmen are so fortunate as to have this broad appeal to women and secretly crave the same adulation, denied in public but secretly held within. Women like the power, its attractive and on another level 'proves' the mens vitality..their strong maleness. The Broncos have huffed and puffed about the 'image' but it has not suffered one whit rather it continues, unhindered as a place of power, a place of viriity and success. Let's be clear about this...no offence was committed. The real offence was the connection of the words 'rape' and 'forcibly' with a few players indulging in harmless sexual release. The media are the true villians here. If you doubt my words, think Monica Lewinsky...no higher office in the World , no loftier standards expected yet his (Clintons ) popularity soared...and remains that way to this day.
