That’s an extra investment property every single year. It’s enough to change his life, his family’s lives, and the lives of probably his unborn grandkids if it’s used wisely. Personally, I doubt there is that kind of money coming for him. I suspect a Sydney club or two would bite in the $1 million range, but beyond that it’s a boatload of cash for a Prop Forward and even with a relatively sure thing like Taumalolo it’s arguably been a poor investment in practice. If he used that sort of offer to ultimately stay but get another $50k-$100k out of Brisbane then his agent has done a great job and thoroughly earned his pay cheque which is precisely what he’s supposed to be doing.
