Staying probably suits him but there is a price I’m sure he’s willing to budge on and no reasonable person can begrudge him wanting to explore that, especially as this is likely to be his biggest roll of the dice contractually in his entire career. I’m absolutely fine with chasing Tino instead, but I don’t see a world where we or any other club get one for much more or less than the other, and realistically give one is incumbent and the other isn’t, it seems likely we’d get Haas for slightly less - so if we were to go out and chase Tino then surely that same money can just be used to give Haas what he’s after to get him over the line?
