Playing a preliminary final against a defensively strong and ruthless team with one halve only, is akin to suicide. Lockyer himself showed as much against Parramatta in 2009. But the most important part, is the vacuum that Lockyer's leadership leaves. Yesterday, we were indeed a rudderless team, and Thaiday needs a crash course from Locky on how to rally the troops, settle them down and give them confidence when the odds are stacking up against them.
