There's also the political backlash associated with stripping the captaincy whilst he is still playing. None of this was on the cards until the flogging occurred on Sunday... and even though most people on here expected a flogging (highly potent attacking side at their home ground where they average high points, sold out crowd, dry track due to the time slot, 70% possession in the first half, etc.), but because it surpassed 50 apparently the club are thinking of burning themselves to the ground.
