LOLZ! No offence mate, but I'm guessing you haven't read or watched much RL history. Beetson is a Queenslander who moved to Sydney for the coin and then played for NSWRL against QRL for the next 11 years. He is a classic example of why Ron McAuliffe (influenced by many) took the SoO concept to NSWRL. Big Artie only played one match for QLD in SoO, because the concept was only developed in his last season of playing. Big Artie is voted by the vast RL community as the greatest modern-footballing forward. Coming from the NSW boys club, that is a huge honour and every clip I've seen of him playing he was unbelievable. I love the quote from The King himself; "In all the games I have played, at all the stadiums around the World, I have never heard a crowd roar like the night Artie finally ran out in a QLD jersey" [SoO 1980- Inaugral Game]
