He successfully negotiated a release from the final year of his contract with the Warriors and Brisbane are more than happy to throw him a one year lifeline in a bid to rekindle his career. With international fullback Karmichael Hunt leaving next year to play AFL, Kemp, 22, could prove a handy and pick up for Brisbane who've unearthed exciting wing prospects Jharal Yow Yeh and Antonio Winterstein.
