And if you want that then you need to recognise that excellence(with a longterm goal which is something the Broncos have always set out for) is something that is neither built overnight and that stability is a huge factor in a clubs longterm success, Wayne Bennett himself said in his early days at the Broncos he thought it would take them at least 5 years to achieve a premiership. As flutterby points out there were many vocal critics including fans who wanted Bennett gone not just because of the Lewis issue but because of the lack of the expected success and considering the talent and experience he had on board at time compared to that of what Henjak has had to work with in his two seasons I know who I would realistically expect more from and its not Henjak in that timeframe. Regardless the Broncos backed Bennett, didn't listen to the often emotionally driven biased perspectives of those outside the club and it proved the correct decision. This is not to say I see Henjak as necessarily the longterm answer at present, but sacking him now instead of letting him prove his potential at least next season with what I think most people would argue is a side that has been a work in progress the last two seasons(especially this season given the introduction of a lot of young talent) which is something Henjak has been working on and then replacing him with someone like Stuart and Anderson who to be honest raise a lot of issues themselves at previous clubs they have been coaches at goes against the foundation and strength of what the club has been built on. I have no problems with having a serious review of his future at the end of next season but sacking him now smells of misguided panic.
