The injury will rob Maranta of an appearance in the World All Stars team to play the Indigenous All Stars at Suncorp Stadium next month. It will also cost him a chance to play in the World Club series against Wigan in England and several of the early rounds of the 2016 NRL competition. But Maranta said he was going to look on the bright side of things. This injury could easily have happened just after the start of the season and cost him a lot more. "All I can do now is make sure I get my rehabilitation right," he said. "We have seven weeks until the season starts from now, so at least that should cover more than half my recovery time. "There is a bit of a silver lining there and I think that is the way you have to look at these things."
