Tigers legend Ben Elias blasted the club this week for the way it has handled this entire disaster, with fans in danger of turning away given the poor state of affairs. Coach Taylor is clinging on to his job but is under increasing pressure amid continued talk of a restless playing group. If the Tigers have a poor start to the season then on the back of the Farah mess, Martin Taupau demanding a release to Manly and other rumblings, Taylor will be the NRL coach most likely to be the first sacked in the new year.
