http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2013/01/18/445654_gold-coast-titans.html THE controversial wife of Titans chief executive David May has ended her role with the club as senior management revealed the organisation’s new board would not be formed before the season’s start. Sources yesterday confirmed Kortney Olson – who has publicly confirmed she is a former porn star and reformed drug user – was no longer a strength coach for the club’s under-20s team. The Bulletin understands she ended her role not long after stories of her past were revealed. The Titans last night would not comment about her departure. Ms Olson moved to the Coast this year after Mr May, 44, was appointed Titans chief executive. Known as KO on various internet sites, Ms Olson is a qualified personal trainer and a bodybuilder. Her name is linked with dozens of adults-only sites. News of her departure came as the Titans confirmed their inaugural board would not be formed until the end of March, weeks after the start of the NRL pre-season. ‘‘We haven’t settled on a number of board members at this stage, but it will be between five and seven, and we are aiming to have it finalised by the end of March,’’ Mr May said last night. ‘‘This process is being driven by the current investors and their representatives, and they are working to a rigorous selection criteria with all candidates, including the independent members.’’ Last year, embattled former chief executive Michael Searle stood down from his role after the club narrowly escaped financial turmoil. Three investors saved the club and Mr May, the former sales and marketing executive, was appointed in Mr Searle’s place. Mr Searle is now executive director of football. The investors will be represented on the board in person or by proxy. The Bulletin understands that Brian Finn will not chair the board, despite previous reports. The board is also set to include Mr Searle and investors Graeme Connor and Darryl Kelly. It is unclear whether Asian real estate tycoon Anshuman Magazine, another investor, will take up a board position. The finalisation of the board has been long delayed, with the Titans announcing last year they hoped to have one in place by July.
