Still, there were plenty of good signs for the Broncos and a number of the changes Bennett made to the side paid off. In particular, Shaun Berrigan had a sublime game in the centres, scoring two tries and bursting through for three important line-breaks. I was always a fan of Berro and couldn't have been happier when he scored THAT try in the 06 Prelim. I've always wondered whether or not he tried to return to the Broncos. While I doubt it would have been a good signing, I would have been happy to see Berro don the jersey in 2012. At least it would have given me something to smile about.
