Unlikely Manenti - see above but like Green is a bowler / bowling all rounder and while he scores regularly, like Green, they are always lower order runs Wade - one of the rare ones who averages over 40 in FC but he is old and been given so many chances before, why would you go back to a guy who at best you might get 12 months out of with little cricket in said 12 months Jewell - he is starting to bring it together but still so inconsistent, one to keep an eye on though Clayton - looks really promising but like everyone, just does not have the record there to make a case McSweeney - has Labs written all over him but also, just does not have the record or recent form to risk it Inglis - the guy is class, you can see that, but he is earmarked to take over from Carey anyway, so not really a pure batting option I think I've covered all the possible options and basically, no one is really available right now. 8 months down the track might well be different.
