For me, the current Broncos v Cowboys series of matches is by far the best I've seen. This is because they have been generally high quality matches, every single game without exception has been very close, and only decided at the death, and many of the matches have been on the big stage of finals football. The only other rivalries I can think of that kind of compare are Storm v Manly 2007-2008ish (tarnished by the salary cap scandal), and State of Origin from about 2013 to 2015, when there were a lot of very close and very physical games.
