Looking at the names listed I would say close to 75% of had 1or maybe more serious injuries early in their career. That can really rock your confidence and it's obvious some guys never recover from that. Then some guys cant handle the pressure, some take the party life more serious, some are just too small for first grade, some dont get on with senior members of their side and don't get the opportunities they deserve.
