He's going to maybe get a shot at mini camp (the camp before pre-season training even begins), then if he's lucky he'll make the 90 man roster which gets cut down to 53. His timing is odd as well - his '12-month plan' is really a 6-9 month plan - season finishes at the end of January, pre-season games start in July. Not a lot of time to get himself ready.
