Comparing it to the 1999 season where though the Broncos were convincingly beaten by the Sharks in the finals(they still put up a decent fight) they weren't outclassed mentally, rather they were physicially spent by then after having to win virtually every game from round 11 onwards to make the finals because they were dead last in round 10.
